what's that thing that imitates art?
Oh you know what they say, suddenly everything, suddenly everything's real.
Anyone who knows me knows that one of my obsessions in life is the Get Up Kids. Yeah I know there are 12 year old girls out there that have the same obsession, but for whatever reason this is a band that just hit me right a long, long time ago. And their songs seem to fit perfectly in with my weird ass life. Alright anyway, not to bore you all with this high fidelity esque sentiment but this song happens to be one of those songs that could have been written about me. And then they went and made a video that is so true its laughable (and not just because I eat like a champ). One of the girls at the end is actually and ex of mine I think, and if not she is doing a pretty damn good impression. So here it is, enjoy....

update and recommendations
Even when you've been off heroin for ten years you still think eh..... maybe.
That quote doesn't really pertain to anything it's just a funny and true statement made by the world's leader of funny and true statements, Ronnie Bennington.
It's been a month since I've posted (I've been busy you bastards) so I figured I'd throw something up here. (I just wrote her instead of here and then had to go back and add the e after I read it. Can you Freudian slip in writing?)
First off it has been almost a month and a week since I've had a cigarette and I'm trying to find something frivolous to spend the money I've saved on. Let me know if you have any ideas.
Secondly two of my good friends have blogs and I've linked them (top left hand corner). One is an awesome photographer and one has a sick selection of skate videos. Both are worth checking out.
Lastly here are some recommendations for some cool shit to experience and why...
1. Lakai Fully Flared - Remember I mentioned my friend had a sick selection of skate videos a couple lines ago? He texted me and told me to watch the intro of this video on youtube. I've since acquired the full movie and watched it on loop for days. It's a Spike Jonze jammy so you know you're in for some good shit.
2. Eagle vs Shark - Quirky New Zealand love story that has Jermaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) acting like Napolean Dynamite and makes Loren Horsley ugly but then makes you want to kind of make out with her.
3. FFXIII Trailer - This one is for dorks only but go on youtube and type in FFXIII. You'll be very, very happy.
4. Nagaina by Poison the Well - although the album, Versions, is worth listening to, this gem is by far the best part and will be stuck in your head for weeks.
5. Hunters/Gatherers - well I can't really say much about this yet but keep your ears out.
Okay, that's it for now.
